Here’s a playlist of Songs in My Head lately:
If I Were A Boy - Beyonce
Payphone - Maroon 5 with Wiz Kalifa
Hands - Jewel
Try Again - Aaliyah
A random assortment of tunes, but intuitively it works—reject nothing, accept everything. Right now it feels like I’m swimming through the most precious moments in my life, I am still piecing together the puzzle, but I know when I look back at this particular period in my life I will be so grateful for the choices I’m making.
It’s tender to feel that kind of appreciation for yourself. New level unlocked.
Cancer Season will do that to you if you allow it. Known as the Mother, the collective is swirling in challenges related to receiving emotional fulfillment, claiming their intuitive nature, themes of sensuality vs sexuality, and wounds from our mother’s nurturing styles. All while the Full Moon in Capricorn adds a punch of tough love into the mix.
Read How to Work with the Full Moon in Capricorn for an astrological insight.
Capricorn rules the 10th house of career and public image. This will illuminate truths about our prioritizes reflected in action, perceived hierarchies of success, wounding around authority & restriction, as well as addressing relationships to our Fathers.
This could manifest as stories of cult or religious liberation (our Father who art in Heaven), political tyranny in the patriarchy (founding Fathers), and health phenomenons linked to nature vs nurture (our biological Fathers).
Capricorn seeks prestige and likes to show up in spaces of honor, while Cancer’s superpower is their emotional sensitivity and intuitive gifts. I suggest reading for your Moon placement, which speaks on the relationship to your Mother, and your Mars placement, which will give you insight on how you take action in order to feel safe.
